ABOUT ME....
I was born on January 11th . I was raised in Los Angeles, Ca. I've lived everywhere from Maywood, Huntington Park, Whittier, La Habra, Pico Rivera, North Hollywood and Santa Fe Springs and Fontana.
Musically I like Classic house, R & B, Hip Hop, Old school, 80's Disco, 80's Flashbacks! Hanging out with my family & friends is what I enjoy doing the most. Traveling, shooting pool, bowling, watching basketball, football, movies and making it a block buster night are some of the other things I like to do.
How did I get into radio you ask?? In middle school I started going to dances and that's when I first noticed "the DJ." I thought, "Wow.. this is dope!" It was at that point I knew I had to get involved with music. In 98, I attended the Academy of Radio Broadcasting in Huntington Beach CA, and picked up the skills that lead me to my first job at Mega 100 F.M in 98. (which is now Hot 92.3)
I also have TV in my background, I worked with UPN 13 formerly KCOP-13 for the News @ 10p as a production assistant with the GORGEOUS Lauren Sanchez and my friend Danny Romero (weatherman on ABC 7.) I’ve worked with George Lopez, Smokey Robinson, Art Laboe, Al B Sure, Sinbad, Mario Lopez, Michelle Visage, Diana Steele & many more.
My best two experiences have been the opportunity to work with one of the greatest songwriter's ...Smokey Robinson (who I always went to Fatburger for) and one of the funniest Latino Comedians ever George Lopez .
I've been on the air with KoKo 94.3 in Fresno, Wild 96.1 in San Bernardino/Riverside and currently here on Hot 92.3!
I love ALL kinds of music and dealing with people. I don't forget where I come from, and never will! -------------------------------------------------------------------------
